CALCIUM OCTOATE

It is an auxiliary dryer in alkyd-based air-drying industrial paints and varnishes. It does not have a drying feature on its own. It also helps dispersion of fillers. It has 4%, 5% and 10% metal percentage types.

It does not mix with organic solvents and oils. It increases performance when used with other dryers. Calcium Octoate is an effective wetting agent. Due to its high wetting feature, it is recommended to use it before the crushing process of paints. It gives better results when used with other active metal soaps.
