POTASSIUM OCTOATE

It is a source of potassium that is soluble in organic solvents. Ethylhexanoates are carboxylates used in many commercial applications and are widely used in various catalysts for oxidation, hydrogenation, polymerization and as adhesion promoters.

Potassium Octoate can be used to promote cobalt soap catalysis and reduce cobalt dosage during polymerization of polyester resin paint. This use results in a light-colored polyester resin.

It contains 24% potassium.
