STRONTIUM OCTOATE
Is a product used as a replacement for Lead Octoate in the production of lead-free paints and inks. It cures effectively even under adverse conditions such as high humidity and low temperatures.
Strontium Octoate is a clear, suspension-free liquid used in the paint and ink industries as a substitute for lead octoate. It is non-toxic and, when used in combination with cobalt and calcium, provides excellent film drying performance. Compared to linoleates, phthalates, and naphthenates, it offers better color, odor, stability, and viscosity properties. However, it should be noted that the characteristics of the product—and therefore its final application—may be affected if the product has become outdated.

Other Products
It is an auxiliary dryer containing cobalt at 1%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 10% and 12%. It is a strong oxidation catalyst for drying oils and is the most effective surface dryer known. It is soluble in organic solvents and oils.
It is used as a dryer in oil paints and to accelerate the hardening of polyester resins. This accelerator plays a role together with mex peroxide in the hardening of polyester resin, gelcoat and vinylester resins. Cobalt accelerates the reaction at room temperature and helps the hardening of gelcoat, polyester and vinylester, and as a result of this reaction, the composite product reaches its final form.
It is used together with organic peroxides as an accelerator of the curing process of unsaturated polyester resins at room temperature. The product is a dark blue liquid.
